Forex Trading Hours

Trading on Forex never stops. When one large currency market closes, another one opens – and you can join in anytime.

MetaTrader platform shows Eastern European Time (EET) as a default.

According to this, Forex trading sessions begin in different countries at different times. This means that traders from these regions are most active during trading sessions in their regions. Therefore, when the sessions coincide, you get the most traders in the market.

Opening hours (EET time)

Pacific (Sydney)

Asian (Tokyo)

02:00 - 11:00

European (London)

American (New York)

Stocks are not open 24/7 and depend on the stock exchanges. Since FBS offers stocks from different stock exchanges around the world, it is useful to see the instrument open hours in your trading platform. Still, you can see the major stock exchange opening hours below.

The daylight saving adjustments occur on the last Sunday of March at 01:00 GMT, moving the clock an hour ahead. The change back takes place on the last Sunday in October at 01:00 GMT.
